Mickey Bolek—Owner, Stylist/Color Specialist

Mickey Bolek has been a leading hairdresser on Capitol Hill since 1994.  His career started over 20 years ago in Florida and he has been working in Washington, DC since 1991.  Clients include prominent men and women working in the halls of Congress, the various executive branches, K Street and entertainment, as well as long-time residents of Capitol Hill. Mickey has a loyal following of clientele who appreciate his exceptional skills, personal service and zest for life.

In addition to working on his clients, Mickey is an award-winning educator, having trained other hairstylists in the latest techniques in cutting, styling and coloring.  His work has been featured on several nationally televised special events.

Da Raborn—Stylist/ Colorist/ Wax Technician

Da Raborn graduated from Aveda Institute, DC at the top of  her class.  She loves cutting and coloring hair, and sculpting amazing eyebrows. Da always incorporates a client’s hair and personal style to bring out their best look.   She stays current in the latest style around the globe adding a little bit of an Asian twist. Da loves to enhance her client’s natural beauty in a way that is not only pretty in the salon, but works with their everyday lifestyle.

Karina Villanueva—Nail Technician

Karina provides salon nail services using OPIâ products.  Whether choosing a regular manicure, pedicure, nail fill or treating yourself to a spa nail experience, Karina will give you a professional result.  Her talent and skill allows her customers to relax and melt away their stress while enjoying their nail treatment.

Hilda Velasquez—Reservation Specialist

Hilda handles reservations for all of the salon’s services.  She will be happy to book your next appointment with your favorite stylist for a haircut and color or with Karina for a relaxing manicure and pedicure.
